Indolent

was used to describe Dad's disease now.

Prostrate cancer.

Does he have a 10 year life expectancy?  If so, we go one way in treatment.

If not, well...

ugh.

It's prostate.

Also, it's incredibly common, and most men die with the disease rather than of it. Still, it sucks to think of your life expectancy in these terms.

Hope he's doing ok.

Indolent-
Pathology. Causing little or no pain; inactive or relatively benign: an indolent ulcer that is not painful and is slow to heal.

Not good news by any means but not nearly as bad as it could be either. As Old MD Girl said most die with it than because of it..

Know he, you and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers
