Prostrate cancer.

Does he have a 10 year life expectancy?  If so, we go one way in treatment.

If not, well...

It's prostate.

Also, it's incredibly common, and most men die with the disease rather than of it. Still, it sucks to think of your life expectancy in these terms.

Hope he's doing ok.

Not good news by any means but not nearly as bad as it could be either. As Old MD Girl said most die with it than because of it..
